Looking to experiment with the female body as main subject, Karla Read teamed up with model Massiel Federo on what turned into a highly personal and intimate shoot, in which this amazing shot was conceived.
“Yes, it was a really personal shoot in which Massiel and I did the
makeup and styling in collaboration. Since we came to Buenos Aires in 2010, Massiel
has been the stylist and model for many of my personal projects. We understand eachother’s
views, so it’s easy to create any story while working as a team,” Read tells us.
The clothing was custom made, as they wanted it to fit perfectly and reveal
just the right amount of skin. The shoot took place in San Telmo, Buenos Aires.
