After making his debut on Ben Trovato in November 2010, Los Angeles based fashion photographer Derek Wood followed his successful feature up with an exclusive fashion editorial in March 2011. Now he’s back, yet again with a great editorial. Take Me Into The Night features Lyndsay Marie, and is a story that will also be a part of a group show curated by Derek and Owen Black, the owner of Trumbull Studio in Brooklyn, where the exhibition will be held from this Saturday December 3rd to December 10th.
The exhibition, also called Take Me Into The Night, gathers artists such as Aaron Feaver, Bryant Eslava, Ryan Schude, JUCO, Elizabeth Weinberg, Jolie Clifford, and Ben Rayner in addition to Derek himself.
Derek says he was inspired by winter and the time change when shooting the story: “It gets dark out so early now so I figured I’d make the most of it and shoot the story at night. I worked with a great group of friends that I use quite often. Kenn Law styled this story, he also shot the video that goes along with it. Demaree Hill did the hair and make up and the beautiful Lyndsay Marie modeled.”
If you’re near Brooklyn from this Saturday to the next, make sure to pop by and see the work of some amazing artists:
