Fresh out of school, Adam Fussel is now ready to leave his university city Leeds to go search for fame and fortune as a fashion photographer in London. His first step on the way? An exclusive story for Ben Trovato of course. In this male fashion story we meet Jacob from Strom Models portraying a lost boy in the big city, strolling around the backstreets of King’s Cross, London. Stylist on the set was Sylvèster Yiu, and hair and make up was done by Kenny Leung.
Adam picked up a camera for the first time around two years ago while studying to become an illustrator: “- This lead me to put down the pen and ink and pick up the camera. I got into fashion photography under a year ago when I realized the potential fashion photography could offer in creating extraordinary representations of creativity and imagination.”
His favorite photographers are Hedi Slimane, David Bailey and Mert and Marcus, and his work is often influenced by films, music, and travel: “- I get most of my ideas from people and surrounding myself around other creatives and like minded people. I have yet to get my work published but this is my main goal for 2011.”
