Pale fire is a story about a girl who lives in Bushwick, New York. Afternoons spent on her roof, was what Enyar enjoyed most about summer in New York. She spent hours languishing in the sunshine, drinking soda and reading books. It was her little corner of the world.
She could look out at the skyline, see the city beneath her; cars, people, conversations all moving, all conversing, all unaware of what was happening upward, toward the sky.
“All colors made me happy: even gray.
My eyes were such that literally they
Took photographs. ”
