Derek Wood made his debut on Ben Trovato back in November, when he said he had a lot of exciting projects coming up. One of them was this down to earth and beautiful story featuring model Chris Kelly with M Models, styled by BT favorites Topsy Design (featured recently in Tamar Levine’s Little Boxes story), and with hair and make up done by Erin Walters, exclusively for Ben Trovato. The story is called Things Behind the Sun.
Derek says this about the story: “- The story is about the morning after. Just a lazy Sunday around the house with your girl.”
Back in November Derek said he was inspired by friends, nature and music, but also fellow photographers: “- As far as photographers go I would have to say Camilla Åkrans, Rankin, Ryan McGinley and Yu Tsai.”
