M On The Seaside by Matthieu Lemaire-Courapied

From Matthieu's last feature on Ben Trovato.

- This is only the beginning, I’m planning on making more and more time on my schedule for photography.” Those were the words of an ambitious Mattiheu Lemaire-Courapied back in September 2011 when we reviewed his work. The Paris based fashion photographer kept his word, and today we are publishing his first exclusive fashion editorial and film for Ben Trovato, featuring the wonderful Marianne Viville. The story, entitled M On The Seaside, was shot in beautiful Normandy, something the whole team appreciated:

- Oh, it was not far from Dieppe (North of France), in a splendid house close to the sea (La Manche - English Channel). It was really really pleasant. Almost like if we were on holidays!

Matthieu describes the story as something intimate, almost like an amateur video made by a couple on holiday. Marianne (model), who also did her own makeup, is a good friend of Matthieu and they’ve work together on multiple projects. “The hair stylist Anaïs Lucas-Sebagh and the stylist Rebecca Bleynie, -are friends too. It was really easy to work with, really friendly and spontaneous. When I was not filming, I was shooting with my film camera.

The white satin and chiffon dress Marianne is wearing is vintage, so is her hat and the black wool pull. Her white gold ring with black and white diamonds is from Bachet.
