“- It started out as a hommage to David Bowie, to give a female model an extra masculine side. Gino brought a lot of wigs to the shoot and since Stephanie looked great with almost all of them, we decided to make a male and a female version of the same personae,” says Belgian Kris De Smidt when explaining his first ever Ben Trovato Exclusive. LOW features the classic beauty Stephanie Frederickx from Dominique Models, who was perfectly styled by Brunel Mintona, and had make up and hair done by Gino Beeckman.
The Antwerp based photographer is represented by C’est Chic Agency in brussels, and his work has been published in various print and online magazines. He is generally inspired by people with “a good sense of bad taste,” and he seems to be enjoying what he’s doing these days. We sure do.
