Berlin based fashion photographer Lukasz Wolejko-Wolejszo started out shooting interior and portraits for commercial use, but through shooting friends and models on the side he ended up shooting fashion not too long ago, and he absolutely loves it: “- Now I get to do editorial and campaign work and I love my job!“
His first story for Ben Trovato is entitled Cool Girl and is about a cool and spontaneous girl in a big city. “The story shows regular scenes of a girl in a big city. A cool girl. She doesn’t wear too much makeup, and the pictures are more like spontaneous snapshots -almost like film stills. I also tried to capture it in a way that the place isn’t distinctive.”
Lukasz explains the he main inspiration comes from living in a big city, but also his idea of rough beauty. And the beauty, fashion model Carmelina @ Satory, was a joy to work with: “- Carmelina was really nice and cute. Open and funny, but professional in work.”
Stylist Dana Roski says she was trilling to live up to Carmelina’s looks, with a cool and spontaneous wardrobe: “- It’s all about having fun and looking just fabulous. She is wearing a mixture of sport styles, menswear and leather with signal colors, matching to her hairstyle.”
