It’s approaching a year ago since we first featured Luc Braquet on Ben Trovato. Since then he’s been travelling more than ever, and shooting more than ever. Based out of Paris, he’s been making regular trips to London and New York City, - where he shot his latest story, Over Broadway, exclusively for Ben Trovato.
His plan was to shoot on the street, but one hour prior to the shooting Luc discovered a great rooftop. With 2 rolls of film and his Leica in his hands, he brought Jennifer @ VNY Model Management and hairstylist Anais Sebagh up the stairs to shoot what would be another fantastic Ben Trovato Exclusive. “- I always want to show the real beauty of the girl, make them expressive, quite natural, therefor I like to shoot alone with a model or just with one make up / hair artist , to keep a small team around me, and maintain the inspiration and focus. I usually let the models know how many frames I’ve got left in my Leica, to keep them energetic and give their best expressions in a limited time. The story was shot in 30 minutes, with 2 rolls of film, on a NYC rooftop over Broadway.”
Back in his previous feature he told us he’d been taking pictures since his childhood days, but it wasn’t until in art school at the age of 19 that he really discovered his passion for it. “- Today, at the age of 25, I am obsessed with photography!” he said back then.
