Alice in Wonderland by Kirsten Becken

Inspired by Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland, Kirsten Becken and her team set off to an amusement park near the Dutch border in Germany to shoot her first Ben Trovato exclusive story. The Düsseldorf based photographer made her debut on Ben Trovato back in January, where she explained how locations with character and a certain feel to it are important to her.

Alice in Wonderland features former Germany’s Next Topmodel contestant Neele Hehemann from Vivienne Models, and unrepresented Hanna Bohnenkamp. They were both styled by Cäthe Klein, and had hair and make up done by Phuong Thai.

When I asked Kirsten to say a few words about the story, she would rather quote the book that inspired the story:
But I don’t want to go among mad people,” Alice remarked.
“Oh, you can’t help that,” said the Cat: “we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad.”
“How do you know I’m mad?” said Alice.
“You must be,” said the Cat, “or you wouldn’t have come here.
