Tamas Olajos shot the dark and beautiful RêVERIE featuring model Eulalie Guillaume for Budapest based fashion brand CSF, in London a few weeks ago. The young fashion and art photographer has previously shot for commercial clients such as Benetton and Beefeater24.
Tamas says this about the film: “- As a fashion photographer I’ve always been open to other visual arts as well. The idea of a short film came after shooting a creative look-book for Hungarian fashion label CSF. Their 2011 collection represented an ethereal trenchcoat, which I found quite exciting to shoot with. The basic idea was mixing film noir and surreal elements with modern, intense, dreamlike pictures. The story is about this woman, who wakes up in her own dream and tries to break out and wake up by confronting herself. The City of London was the most ideal area, as it’s almost dead on sundays, so we could get the scenes of an empty city. After a couple of weeks of editing we had an offline premiere in Budapest at the CSF 2011 S/S fashion show.”
