From Sigurd's first feature on Ben Trovato.
It’s almost been a year since we presented some of Sigurd Grünberger‘s work on Ben Trovato, an article that showed to be extremely popular judging from how it was shared throughout. As Sigurd is one of our favorite up and coming photographers, we are very excited to finally publish his first exclusive story for Ben Trovato, Dark Matters.
“We were actually jamming in the studio,” Sigurd says, adding “All we knew was that we wanted to create a great black and white studio story.”
And they ended up with just that, -a great black and white story. Anna from 2pm took the role as Sigurd and his team combined feminine with the masculine, much helped by the amazing styling by Dorothea Gundtoft. Dorothea says “the styling is inspired by contemporary minimalistic menswear composed to present a sharp elegance that is combining Japanese structure with Scandinavian tailoring.”
Completing the team was hair stylist and makeup artist Louise Bruun, and Sigurd couldn’t be happier with his team: “Yeah, I have done a lot of shoots with both Dorothea and Louise and we a have good understanding for each other. Recently Dot [Dorothea] and i shot a story for vogue.it!”
