2011 was a year of growth for Ben Trovato. The level of ambition back when our calendar read January 2011 was sky high, yet we have exceeded all expectations, and we can safely say it has been a Ben Trovato year. We have gone from being a niche blog, to being the publication millions of fashion and photography blessed individuals worldwide turn to for inspiration and talent. We say publication because the word blog is merely there to describe how we organize our published content.
We are now an online publication which published over 170 exclusive fashion productions in 2011 and this last quarter we decided to only focus on exclusive content from now on. At most we’ve published over 30 exclusive fashion stories and films a month. What other fashion publications can compete with that?
We’ve been mentioned in publications such as GQ Italia and Oyster, we’ve headlined a fashion film festival together with Peter Lindbergh and Ellen von Unwerth, and we’ve shot all the fashion brands we’ve ever dreamed of shooting.
Most importantly, we’ve helped and connected with hundreds of amazing aspiring fashion professionals to give them and their work the attention and recognition it deserves. We’ve worked hard to ensure that Ben Trovato is at the forefront of presenting these artist’s work, their ideas and concepts. All of our stories are accompanied with in-depth interviews discussing their processes and thoughts on each project. In addition to this, each story or fashion film is presented in large, high resolution format, making the experience even better.
We were founded upon the dream of helping the up-and-coming in fashion photography and film, and this year we’ve taken a big step to fulfill that dream (hooray!) .
Ben Trovato has this year become the stage the business has its eyes on and today we will show you why.
We have put together our ten most popular fashion editorials, and three most popular fashion films of the year, showing you the amazing talent that has grazed our pages throughout the twelve months of this amazing year.
